You will utilise your skills in food preparation, food service and safe kitchen procedures.
- Implementation of current menus and updates to menus user manuals and/or procedures. Assist planning of menus updates/new additions in discussion with management in the restaurant. Aid with new restaurant establishment and opening if needed.
- Assist trialing, training, and supervision of BOH employees including maintaining training standards.
- Assist ordering food supplies and packaging; maintain good relationship with all suppliers. Cross checks invoices and train employees on checking invoices/ delivery sign off.
- Assist in setup, food/drink prep, food service and pack down of kitchen for normal operations and possible catering/events.
- Maintaining food quality, integrity and standards across the stores and brands.
- Ensure all food procedure checklists are completed daily.
- Ensure the back of house, kitchen and all food related areas comply with Workplace Health & Safety regulations, serviceable and of suitable appearance for business operation.
- Maintain the equipment in the restaurant, manage any services for breakdowns. Supervise the kitchen/dining and oversee the food preparation, quality control, presentation, and size of the servings.
- Assist resolve customer food complaints if needed.
- Assist manager with managing absentees and roster if needed.
- General management duties and overall organization of the establishment’s operations to provide quality Back of House Occupational Health & Safety, services/procedures/employees/ council food inspections.

**Skills and experience**
You will be a positive, proactive individual with initiative. Passionate and ambitious individual who takes pride in their work, eye for detail for food presentation and can handle a fast pace environment.

Pay: $73,150.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Public holidays
