To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong leadership and management skills, as well as experience rostering staff, and managing absenteeism replacements, and continuously improving the business through a structured approach.

In this leadership role, the Operations Supervisor, PM will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Managing daily distribution activities to ensure that people and equipment levels meet service requirements and are employed efficiently- Responsible for a structured approach to continuously improve the business- Ensuring health and safety are paramount and responsibilities are effectively communicated throughout the team- Leading and developing the positions of direct reports to ensure effective service delivery and succession planning- Reviewing labour requirements and adjusting to suit service and overall business requirements- Managing competing priorities and adjusting to changing conditions- Monitoring fatigue management and load restraint.- A proven track record in a leadership capacity within transportation and logistics- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.- Proficiency with computers and relevant software, such as scheduling and dispatch systems.- Ability to work with overlapping shifts, and staff members therein- Flexibility in daily tasks, including cross-training in other supervisory responsibilities- A comprehensive understanding of HSE and legislative requirements within transportation

Working hours for this position are Monday - Friday, Afternoon onwards.
