Role highlights - Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance

Our client, an employer of choice is currently building a team to deliver high quality services, is now seeking a Category Specialist to join their highly skilled team.

**The Role**:
The purpose of this role is to strategically manage the delivery of contract management services consistent with commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, and scope and client satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and coordinate the strategic sourcing activities.
- Manage the contract management cycle for a range of commodities including supplier relationships and performance
- Ensure sourcing, contract and procurement processes are compliant and operate within set policy and procedures.
- Regular liaising and negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders on specific portfolios of contracts.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law or Supply Chain or extensive relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Substantial knowledge and experience within strategic sourcing and contract management
- Highly developed problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
