**Looking For**:
**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare, clean, and measure metal stock before fabrication.
- Cut, shape, and form metal sections and components using hand tools, cutting torches, and industrial machinery.
- Operate welding equipment, presses, grinders, and other tools to fabricate security screens and doors.
- Heat, bend, and hammer metal sections and pipes into the required shapes.
- Align and position metal components for joining using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Perform welding, riveting, and bolting to securely join metal parts.
- Inspect welds and joints to ensure precision, durability, and consistency.
- Clean, smooth, and refine finished metal products through grinding, filing, and polishing.
- Repair and modify existing security doors and screens as needed.
- Follow workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

**Skills & Attributes**:

- An AQF Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a metal fabricator or in a related field.
- Ability to work with precision and control, performing intricate tasks where accuracy is essential.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle metal components and operate heavy tools.

**Job Type & Salary**:

- This is a permanent full-time job.
- The salary will be $75,000 to $80,000 + Superannuation.

**Working Hours**:

- The capacity to work flexible hours, such as weekends and evenings, is required.
