Industrial Services Controller

**Description**:
Reporting to the Industrial Services Coordinator, the primary focus of this role is to assist in the preparation, delivery, and completion of shutdown project work.
**In this role, you will**:
Take reasonable steps to ensure own safety, health and welfare in the workplace and also the safety, health and welfare of others in the workplace
Comply with SHEQ Policies and Procedures, and the SHEQ Policies and Procedures of our clients while working on their sites
Contribute to a positive safety culture & the achievement / maintenance of our “Destination Zero” objective
Report all hazards, incidents and near misses
Assist in completing asset inductions, pre-hire inspections and maintenance activities for tool store products
Carry out electrical testing and tagging activities
Pick, pack and prepare containers for shut down work based on project specifications
Assist in the configuration and assembly of tool store layout on customer site
Book tooling and equipment in an out though the ONTOOL system, ensuring status of items remains accurate in system at all times
Inspect equipment upon return for defects and damage, ensuring defective or damaged equipment is isolated, tagged out and recorded in ONTOOL
Monitor and report on consumables stock usage
Return tooling and equipment to designated location upon completion of pre-hire checks and hygiene requirements
Assist in the completion of regular stock take activities, using the system to locate and retrieve missing tooling and equipment
Assist in the disassembly of tool stores on customer site upon completion of project
Unpack tool stores upon completion of project and transfer equipment in ONTOOL from project back to branch
Carry out housekeeping activities to ensure on site tool store office is clean, walkways are clear, and equipment is stored appropriately
Undertake other roles and responsibilities as directed by the manager in line with your knowledge, skills and abilities
Ensure performance and conduct aligns with Onsite Values - Ownership and Accountability, Nimble, Safety and Environment, Innovative, Teamwork
Identify and fulfill compliance obligations, and report breaches as encounted
Lead a team by providing supervision and information
Collaborate with others in direct team and external to Onsite to achieve the required goal
**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential
Strong safety focus with an ability and desire to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Aptitude for hands-on, mechanical tasks
Intermediate computer skills including data entry and systems usage
Attention to detail and accuracy
Reliability, self-motivation and willingness to work
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
Minimum of Certification/Licence in relevant study area
3 + years relevant experience in rental, industrial or construction industry
High Risk Work Licence LF (forklift), Electrical Testing and Tagging Certification
Trade qualification in mechanic or similar
Knowledge of tool store equipment and operating requirements
