Allied Health Team Leader

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- To provide leadership to the Allied Health Services to the Hilltops region encompassing financial, capital, human and physical resources.
- Job Share (32 hours per fortnight)
- Mercy Care Centre Young, Allied Health Department
- To Coordinate the daily operations of the Allied Health Services ( Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Aged Care Assessment Team and Transitional Aged Care Program ).
- Role responsibility includes recruitment, people & performance management ,networking, monitoring budgets and department activity.
- To Provide Leadership in the provision of care and clinical practice within a multidisciplinary model.
- To manage and direct the delivery of Allied Health services within an integrated service setting as part of a multidisciplinary unit and in line with organisational goals.
- ABOUT YOU:
- Recognised professional qualification in an Allied Health Discipline, including current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of Professional body as required for clinical practice.
- Proven current ability in leadership and management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional position
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills
