Reporting to the Lead Project Delivery, you will be responsible for providing advice and executing tasks in support of the delivery phase of the Remote Control Unloading project to deliver the business objectives, within the constraints of scope, time, quality and budget. There is an expectation of site travel at least 2-3 days a week during the execution phase. Generally we offer the specialists an option of a roster 5:4:3:2 during the execution phase only

The role description is as follows:
Reporting to the Lead Project Delivery, you will be responsible for providing advice and executing tasks in support of the delivery phase of the Remote Control Unloading project to deliver the business objectives, within the constraints of scope, time, quality and budget.

There is an expectation of site travel at least 2-3 days a week during the execution phase. Generally we offer the specialists an option of a roster 5:4:3:2 during the execution phase only - I will need to check with my manager regarding upliftment for contractors as I am not sure of how this process works.

Key responsibilities include:

- Support the successful delivery of the project in accordance with Our Requirements and the MAP Internal Standard.
- Lead development and implementation of the safety, risk and quality management plans.
- Support and collaborate with internal functions and contracting partners.
- Engage with the customer to ensure timely handover of works

About You:

- Demonstrable experience in managing site-based project activities and leading safety initiatives.
- Sound technical and commercial skills in managing contractors and consultants to enable the successful delivery of projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to form trusted professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- An organised individual capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in locomotive control systems works will be an advantage however not mandatory.
- Experience in BHP systems will be an advantage however is not mandatory
