**THE ROLE**

This position is responsible for providing strategic advice to the Chief Executive Officer, stewarding Cabinet and Parliamentary submissions and content, and delivering strategic projects.

The position operates in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people across Homes Victoria and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).

Working closely with the CEO, Deputy CEO and senior executive team, the position plays a key leadership role. The position operates with a high-level of professionalism, autonomy, initiative and collaboration.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
