- Job Description SummaryAn exciting new opportunity has arisen for a supervisor to join Service Stream based in Melbourne, VIC
- About the Role We are hiring Supervisors to join our Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Projects Team. We have key long-term projects for you to support, including a renowned major transport infrastructure project. You will have a home base of our new site in Port Melbourne and will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring your team meets and exceeds company standards for performance and productivity. You will lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their goals and perform to the best of their abilities.

Key responsibilities:

- Supervising the delivery of intelligent transport system construction projects.
- Providing scheduling and controls to ensure on time on budget delivery.
- Monitoring, scheduling and supervising team activities and processes to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Building and maintaining relationships across the team(s) and provide guidance and support by training, mentoring and coaching team members to develop internal expertise and ensure that staff are adequately resourced to perform.
- Leading by example by promoting and fostering a performance culture to drive accountability and core values.
- Ensuring safety compliance to business management system.
- Entering QA required to justify claims and reporting requirements.
- Identifying variations from the contractual scope for escalation to or pricing from management.

About You
- Electrician A class, instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an infrastructure services industry or construction environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising or coordinating field activities.
- Demonstrated ability to plan resources and manage the delivery of road works across a transport network.
- Strong safety culture and understanding of regulatory requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Previous experience in a tier 1 company.
- Experience in ITS industry would be highly regarded.
