We are currently looking for a Hardware Technician to join our growing iPlay team in Western Australia. This hands-on role is key to keeping our venues running smoothly. You will use your technical skills to support and maintain our systems, repair hardware, and provide essential IT support across our venue operations.

About the Role:
Your role will be a Hardware Technician servicing our Western Australia venues, including iPlay Carousel, iPlay Rockingham, and iPlay Whitfords, as well as other sites as required.

You will travel between these venues to repair and maintain arcade machines, ensuring they operate at their best. You’ll work closely with the Regional Manager and Venue Managers when support is needed.

We’re looking for someone who is dedicated, a quick learner, and focused on keeping machine downtime to an absolute minimum.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Ensuring the software and hardware program or machine on a daily basis.
- Respond to any queries regarding software and hardware problems and determine requirements to provide solutions.
- Ensure the sufficient usage and maintenance of all equipment.
- Assist with computer systems, including installing, testing, repairing, configuring, and other required tasks.
- Strong experience in an electronic, auto or audio-visual technician role, or in an electrical/electronic/technical field.
- Repairing white goods or computer hardware, or experience repairing audio-visual equipment or associated technologies.
- Ability to review equipment, identify errors and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Proactively carry out preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Great communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible availability for various shifts including weekends, public and school holidays.
- A current driver’s licence is a must.

Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience as a hardware technician or in a similar role.
- Relevant Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude and able to achieve set targets.
- National Police Check completed within the last 30 days.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
