**The Opportunity** We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and organised Assistant Manager to join our team.

This full-time role includes weekend shifts. Working under the Cafe Owner-Manager, you'll help drive the smooth operation of our café, leading our team with energy and consistently delivering excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Participating in daily operations, including start-up and shut-down routines
- Guiding and supervising team members to ensure the best service standards
- Professionally handling customer inquiries and grievances
- Assisting with inventory management, order processing, and stock control
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
- Contributing to the attainment of sales targets
- Fostering the warm, welcoming culture that has made us a local favourite

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous hospitality experience is a major plus, but we value your willingness to learn even more. Managerial experience isn't necessary but is appreciated.
- A positive, energetic attitude and readiness to learn new things.
- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- An ability to juggle multiple tasks and effectively manage time
- An eye for detail and a passion for upholding high standards
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash management
- Barista skills are a great advantage, but don't worry if you don't have them - we're ready to teach you.
