As part of the Freightways Ltd group of companies, Med-X Healthcare Solutions is a rapidly growing company providing complete Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal and Hygiene & Washroom Solutions. As a Service Technician with Med-X, our clients vary widely as do our routes from week to week. We currently have a Full Time role available for an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic person who is happy to work unsupervised with an interest in a diverse range of tasks such as driving, clinical and hygiene servicing and customer service. **Key responsibilities**: - Delivery and collection of clinical & medical bins, sharps containers and related products - Servicing and maintaining washroom products in both male and female bathrooms - Refilling soap, air fresheners, and sanitiser products - Carrying out assigned hygiene and cleaning work to the highest of standards - Operating servicing and cleaning tools - Loading and unloading of your vehicle - Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is maintained, safe and clean - Complete all service paperwork - Weighing and recording your vehicle's load weights - Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS **Key requirements**: - 1+ years driving experience - Valid C-Class Driver's Licence or Medium Rigid (MR) with a good Driver History Record - Strong Customer Focus - Is smart phone savvy - Ability to work independently, within a close-knit team environment - Willing to work in both metro and regional area - Willing start at varied and sometimes early times - Safe manual handling skills - Hard-working, punctual, and reliable - Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction - Be aligned with our values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable and Service **What's in it for You?** - Competitive Market Rates - $100 allowance per day for overnight runs - Birthday Vouchers and Celebrations - Site BBQs - Learning and development opportunities - Great benefits including employee shopping discounts - Employee reward and recognition program - Company Uniform - Employee Assistance Program **Shortlisted applicants will be required to**: - Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia - Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position - Appropriate immunisation requirements Apart from joining a "family" who take work and team environments very seriously.
