The Zamasa Foundation is a charitable foundation whose sole focus is the advancement of immunotherapy research into Multiple Myeloma. Established in 2018, the Foundation Fellow in Multiple Myeloma, based at St. Vincent’s Hospital which will be the first of its kind in New South
Wales. The Foundation has charitable status and a board of directors with a medical advisory board. The initial goal of the Foundation is to fund the Multiple Myeloma Fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital with a view to further funding in research in the field. The Foundation is working in collaboration with the St Vincent’s Hospital Curran Foundation, the fundraising organization for St Vincent’s Hospital.

**What you'll be doing**

Responsibilities of this position are to establish and co-ordinate a dedicated Multiple Myeloma service within the St. Vincent’s Hospital campus with a particular emphasis on cellular therapy and clinical trials. The fellow will be responsible for conducting a weekly myeloma clinic with a view to establishing a database of Myeloma patients in the unit. They will work with the BMT Fellow in establishing protocols and procedures for an allogeneic stem cell transplant and cellular therapy program for myeloma and will also provide the regulatory and governance platform for trials in CAR-T cells and other novel treatment strategies in myeloma.
- Successful or near completion of Haematology Advanced training with FRACP and FRCPA or equivalent
- At least 5 years full time postgraduate experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and high standards of clinical practice in Haematology and Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation commensurate to experience which is appropriate to the requirement of the position.
