**About the role**

As the Network Planning Officer - Readiness, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Operations Group.

You will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of replacement service plans for occupations, including customer experience and the successful delivery of special event services.

Key accountabilities include:

- ** Stakeholder Engagement -**Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- ** Occupation Readiness Coordination -**Oversee the planning and execution of partial line occupations, ensuring all operational elements are in place for successful service delivery
- ** Special Events Planning -**Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure V/Line is fully prepared to deliver reliable and efficient services during special events.
- ** Operational Support -**Provide logístical and administrative support to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, particularly during occupations and service changes.
- ** System Proficiency -**Utilise Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and the broader Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation, reporting, and communication tasks effectively.
- ** Readiness Assurance -**Act as a key point of coordination to confirm that all operational and support teams are prepared for planned service changes or disruptions.

- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience and knowledge, particularly Excel and Power Point
- Experience in planning or transport planning is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communicator
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work towards timelines
