Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Network Engineer, supporting Deployment Maintenance Request Engineering. The selected candidate will be working on multiple programs and initiatives for L3Harris as the primary contractor. The selected candidate will collaborate with internal and external teams. Work independently on projects from start to finish, including the support of the FTI deployment maintenance team activities required to schedule implementation of equipment and service orders for the FTI telecommunications network.

The Maintenance Request (MR) Network Engineer:

Must possess prior knowledge and experience with communications engineering designs, service solutions and implementation processesAble to work with minimal supervision with ability to lead in a team environmentProject management skills capable of adhering to deadlines and completion of tasks per project scheduleAbility to coordinate complex operations across multiple teams within the FTI Deployment domain

Preferred Technical Experience:

SQL knowledgeMicrosoft Access knowledgeStrong data analytical background, identifying patterns, determining root causesStrong knowledge of all MS Office suites such as Word, Power Point and ExcelStrong organization skills and process orientedAble to identify commonalities or discrepanciesAble to understand cause and effect impactsAble to communicate with other teams to resolve discrepancies in the engineering designsAbility to face customer with communicating and coordinating field efforts between Harris and FAASupports Network Implementation Management with MR creation required for coordinating field implementation eventsSupports all members of FTI Implementation staff in reviewing Harris DICE artifacts (diagrams, MOPs and parts), field work orders (DCDs)Possess strong technical aptitude with multiple FTI networking tools including but not limited to: MR tool, L3Harris DICE, ClearQuest, SSMT, FINs, Metasolv, PITs (Parts), Field Dispatch tool, OSS toolInterpret Engineering designs to obtain the relevant data to build the port paths in the OSS systemWork with CPE and Telco Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies in the engineering designsCreate change packages to proactively stage the specified changes in Maintenance RequestsImplement Maintenance Requests and their specified changes into the OSS system

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

MEF 2.0 certification and/or equivalent level experience preferredCCNA Certification or equivalent work experience preferred
