Our Barista / Cafe Allrounder creates a friendly and customer service environment where residents and their families can come and socialise over a hot or cold beverage or snack. Typically, this involves: - Welcoming all customers with a warm, friendly and helpful personality and attitude - Service of a range of snacks including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins etc. - Preparation and service of hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages - it is essential you have a barista certificate and make yummy coffees - Cleaning of kitchen, service areas and dining area around the coffee shop. - Follow and carry out daily, weekly and monthly procedures to maintain high quality cafe operations - Work with the Chef Manager to talk through supply of items needed to run the cafe properly - Ensure the cafe area is free any workplace hazards, trips, slips or other items that may cause a safety issue. - Maintain a professional, respectful and inviting cafe environment which is a positive reflection of our company. - Assist in / provide back up support in dining room service when required. **This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items** to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents_._ **_About You_** At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. Whilst formal qualifications such as a cert II in hospitality would be highly regarded, it is more important that you have a friendly disposition, a willingness to help others and demonstrated experience in a customer service or a hospitality environment such as retail, coffee shop, bar, or restaurant.
