**The Service**

**KU Bradfield Park Children's Centre **is a 53 place LDC service in the heart of the **West Lindfield **that cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old with an emphasis on an inclusive environment, where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. The service has specially designed indoor and outdoor spaces and encourages children to explore and learn within a nurturing environment.

The **KU Bradfield Park **team is well known within the local community for their focused, play based education approach and you will be joining a truly dedicated team with all of the KU learning resources at your disposal.

**The **Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a diploma qualified educator. On offer is a **permanent part time position working Monday to Friday, 5.5 hours per day.**

**Our ideal applicant will have**
- A contemporary lens on practice and pedagogy.
- Sound experience and skills with programming and planning.
- Experience working with a wide variety of ages as this role is not set in the one room it is a role which takes you across all rooms throughout the week.

**In addition, you must have**:

- A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia.
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) as well as the "Circle of Security" theory
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Child Protection training, understanding of legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
- A current First Aid certificate with separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills.
