Our modern facility, which includes a 20 bed secure wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants for an immediate start in both permanent part-time and casual positions. If you have a caring and friendly nature, excellent communication skills and love to challenge yourself, we'd love to hear from you

**Qualifications/Experience**

**_Essential_**
- Experience in all facets of low to high and even palliative care.
- Impeccable time management
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills through the use of information technology, written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to identify and resolve situations autonomously and under the supervision of Registered Staff
- Ability to follow directives and adhere to procedures and protocols in place both at Lions Haven and as directed through current Australian Healthcare guidelines
- Display a positive attitude through your attendance, presentation, punctuality and reliability
- Promote the Lions Haven philosophy of providing Resident focused care which maintains their dignity, independence, individuality and freedom of choice
- Respect each Residents individual needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences when providing nursing care

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent or have completed 1 or more year's training as an undergraduate nursing student
- Current Police Certificate /NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current Covid-19 Vaccination including booster

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.44 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees and visitors to Lions Haven are currently undertaking Rapid Antigen Testing before each shift/visit. PPE in accordance to current guidelines is being worn, social distancing is in place as well as elevated infection control.
