**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Content Producer plays a key role in ensuring Lifeline Australia’s Self-led Support products - such as the Support Toolkit and Beyond Now -deliver clear, engaging, and practical mental health and wellbeing content to help seekers, carers, and professionals at every stage of their journey.

As part of Lifeline’s Knowledge & Quality Team, the role will support UX best practices, content performance analysis, and internal promotion to ensure content reaches and resonates with those who need it most. The role will work closely with the Service Owner of Self-led Support, clinical teams, and product specialists to translate complex mental health concepts into easy-to-read, actionable digital resources.

This role is responsible for coordinating, publishing, and management of all Self-led Support content, ensuring it remains trustworthy, accessible, clinically informed, and aligned with Lifeline’s empathetic, inclusive, and empowering voice. Their work is essential in achieving and maintaining the breadth and depth of content across Lifeline Australia’s Self-led Support resources.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In this role, you will:

- Assist with creating the Self-led Support content roadmap through analysis of trends, page performance, and SEO recommendations from the Digital Producer, Including helping to identify proactive and reactive content needs.
- Write, edit, and publish engaging, accessible, and clinically informed wellbeing content for Lifeline Australia’s Self-led Support products.
- Prepare and/or publish content uploads and updates within the CMS, ensuring proper formatting, tagging, and navigation.
- Identify, source and/or create infographics, illustrations, and other design assets needed for Self-led Support resources.
- Identify and integrate reputable third-party content (videos, podcasts, articles) that align with Lifeline’s standards.
- Ensure all Self-led Support content adheres to Lifeline’s trauma-informed, ethical, and inclusive communication standards.
- Conduct regular content audits to keep statistics, support service details, and branding up to date.
- Collaborate with the Digital Producer on the curation and migration for the website.
- Review content engagement through analytics, user feedback, and trends to inform updates.
- Use data insights to refine content readability, structure, and engagement.
- Identify opportunities to optimise content discoverability and effectiveness across Lifeline’s digital platforms.
- Work closely with internal teams, including clinical, UX, and product specialists, to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
- Support the promotion and internal visibility of newly published and updated content.
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives that enhance Lifeline’s Self-led Support resources.
- Support the integration of visual elements (e.g., infographics, simple graphics) to enhance comprehension and accessibility.
- Assist with content testing, feedback collection, and iterative improvements to ensure a seamless experience for the help seeker.

**ABOUT YOU**

**We are looking for someone who has the following**:

- **Minimum 2-4 years of experience in content writing, UX writing, or digital content management.**:

- **Strong ability to simplify complex mental health topics into accessible, engaging content.**:

- **Understanding of mental health literacy, suicide prevention principles, and ethical communication.**:

- **Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity, WordPress) and digital publishing processes.**:

- **Experience working in cross-functional teams (UX, marketing, clinical experts).**:

- **Strong attention to detail, with editing and proofreading skills.**:

- **Ability to adopt and write in the tone, voice, and style of the Lifeline’s Self-led Support resources.**:

- **Desirable: Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Figma, Canva, Adobe Express) to support visual content.**:

- **Desirable: Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track content performance.**:

- **Desirable: Knowledge of accessibility standards for digital content (WCAG).**:

- **Desirable: Familiarity with trauma-informed communication principles.**
