**About The Role**

As a 2IC with demonstrated administration experience, ideally within a healthcare environment, you will join Anzac House, Western Australia, on a Permanent Full-Time basis working 38 hours per week. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager and supporting Defence Force Recruiting (DFR), you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of tasks and customer demands. You will be responsible for leading, managing and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic, particularly in the absence of the Practice Manager.

**Duties**

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

- Support the Medical and Psychology Officers
- Reception duties and maintaining consulting rooms
- Arriving clients and monitoring clinic bookings
- Assistance of human resource functions including recruitment, inductions and performance management
- Promoting and embedding a high level standard of customer service delivery
- Coordination of the clinic operations including results management and daily invoicing
- Effective team supervision of administration staff
- Assistance of human resource functions including recruitment, inductions and performance management
- Promoting and embedding a high level standard of customer service delivery
- Reception and general administration duties
- Processing medical bookings
- Conducting preliminary medical assessments
- Administering health questionnaires

You will have relevant experience in supervising staff, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in Clarity / Best Practice software will be highly regarded.

Additional requirements include:

- Minimum 3 years in medical administration/specialists rooms with senior or supervisory experience
- Clinical billing and data entry experience ie. Surgical and hospital itemised billing
- Experience working in a fast paced clinic environment and under pressure
- Ability to engage, motivate, empower and coach staff to achieve desired business outcomes
- High level of computer skills
- A strong commitment to customer service
- A current CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain these (please speak to us if you need support in obtaining certification)
- ** Australian Citizenship** and the ability to obtain an **AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance**
