Law Clerk (Superannuation & Disability Insurance)

What are we looking for?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a positive, energetic and highly motivated Law Clerk to join our Superannuation & Disability Insurance practice group in Ashfield NSW.

Our team works closely with clients who have superannuation Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) or private disability insurance claims following an injury or illness to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Under supervision of a Senior Lawyer your daily duties will include:

- Undertaking client interviews to establish an entitlement to make a disability insurance claim;
- Review insurance policies and trust deeds applicable to the client’s matter
- Preparation of claim forms and legal submissions
- Draft correspondence to clients and third parties
- Providing a tailored approach to each client’s matter
- Managing your own file load of client claims
- Maintain and build new relationships for the practice

This position will suit those who have recently completed their law degree.

- Previous experience as a Law Clerk preferred but not essential
