**The Opportunity -**

In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.

BDA is looking for a **Ground Technician Instructor**who will join the MQ-28 Ghost Bat team. In this role you will be responsible for the creation, management and delivery of MQ-28 Ground Support training as well as providing operational support to the Ground Support team.

This role is based at Amberley, but travel between other sites may be required including internationally

As a **Ground Technician Instructor**within Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), your exceptional training skills will enable you to excel in a challenging role within a unique environment by:

- Providing effective and knowledgeable training courseware that meets the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) requirements.
- Providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice to support analysis and design of training materials.
- Developing training materials that meet the needs of the MQ-28 program and its customers.
- Conducting training for BDA employees and customers.
- Providing operational support as a Ground Support Technician.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience with Information Technology networked systems, including:
- Setup
- Maintenance
- Upgrades
- Experience in server administration
- Experience in configuration management and systems software support
- Experience with digital and analogue communication systems
- Previous experience developing training courseware
- Previous experience instructing small to medium groups of learners
- Demonstrated experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance
- Experience in software engineering (desirable)
- Certificate IV qualification in Information Technology (desirable)
- Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment (desirable)
