An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Education professional who wants to be actively involved in the development and support of the staff at a private hospital in Perth.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Education Manager, you will be responsible for leading the learning and development activities that support the strategic direction, operational processes and delivery of clinical care throughout the hospital. This includes the training requirements within the National Standards. You will coordinate the hospital orientation program and manage the online eLearning system.

As the Education Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and developing the hospital orientation and education programs;
- Plan and coordinate ALS and PALS sessions for clinical staff;
- Providing support and delivering staff mandatory training sessions to meet compliance requirements;
- Coordinating learning opportunities for graduate and undergraduate nurses, non-clinical staff, volunteers and those seeking work experience;
- Responsible for leadership and management of Education team leaders as applicable.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Registration with AHPRA;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- Relevant health professional qualifications and experience;
- Experience in leading a team;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver education programs;
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;
- Problem-solving, analytical and time management skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and within a diverse team.

Hospital, located in Perth, is an acute private facility providing a comprehensive range of services across most adult specialties. Hospital is one of Australia's largest private providers of cardiac services, with a significant structural heart programme supported by cutting-edge technology in the Hybrid Theatre.

The core surgical specialities include Cardiothoracic, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, breast surgery and plastic surgery. Hospital has three Cardiac Catheter Labs and 10 operating theatres.
