**Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Mediq Broadmeadows**

**The Role**: We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist with proficiency in Arabic to join our close-knit team. This dual-role is integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic and providing an exceptional patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
- Manage sterilisation processes, maintaining a strict standard of cleanliness.
- Greet and welcome patients upon their arrival, and manage appointment bookings.
- Handle phone inquiries, relay messages and manage patient records in both English and Arabic.
- Ensure the front desk is neat and presents a pleasant and professional image.
- Process billing, payments, and liaise with insurance companies when necessary.
- Support and promote a positive work environment in line with our clinic values.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with dental software is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BROADMEADOWS, VIC 3047: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Arabic (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
