**The Position**:
The Information Security Manager with knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security / Information Security Management (ISM) principles and delivery within an ITIL based environment.

You will be responsible for providing ISM or Cyber Security advise, risk assessment and guidance, and managing the delivery to multiple managed services customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide security advice and guidance as needed to customers and the delivery teams, including oversight of risk, compliance and vulnerability management,
- Ensure all contracted deliverables are delivered in a timely manner, and that all SLAs are met.
- Involvement in strategic planning for the direction of the service offerings.
- Investigate, assess and report on the development or spread of potential information security threats and vulnerabilities that may impact the technical infrastructure SLAs.
- Oversee the execution of delivery for all as-contracted Security obligations in line with relevant Policies and associated Controls, plus in line with the processes aligned with ITIL.
- Continued improvement of security standards and delivery methodology.

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary education (degree in information technology / computer science / business), or relevant industry qualifications.
- 5+ years of experience in information security management / delivery / consulting role, with a good understanding of security governance and strategy.
- Experience managing teams of security analysts.
- Understanding and experience in cyber security related tooling such as vulnerability management, network protection, modern threat protection.
- Knowledge and understanding of the information security standards: PSPF, ISM, ISO 27001 / 27002, or other equivalent documents.
- One of the following certifications: CISSP / CISM / CISA / CRISC / SANS / GIAC.
- Understanding of ITIL principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to board level.
- Hold a government security clearance (desirable, but not essential).

**Salary Package**: $170K - $180K (incl. super)
