**Are you a proactive facilities management professional looking for an exciting opportunity? JLL is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our Engineering, Operations & Sustainability (EOS) team in South Australia.**
**About the role**
As the Facilities Manager, you'll be the site representative for several key SA assets, reporting to the Associate Director of EOS SA. You'll be responsible for managing building operations, maintenance services and tenant relations across a range of mixed assets including commercial, retail and industrial sites to ensure building standards are upheld along with optimal performance and client satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage operational maintenance regimes for mixed property assets including services for HVAC, access control, plumbing, lifts, electrical, fire, cleaning and security
- Manage contractor performance to ensure compliance with agreed work packages, safety regulations, annual building certificates and relevant standards
- Develop and maintain excellent contractor and tenant relations
- Perform routine inspections with reports for clients and act upon any corrective actions
- Develop and maintain standard documentation procedures
- Procure and tender contractors for PPM contracts and various projects
- Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed

**What you will bring**:
- Experience in managing a range of mixed multi-story commercial, retail and industrial assets and their systems
- Strong knowledge of core building services such as fire systems, HVAC, access control and building intelligence
- Strong knowledge in managing hard and soft FM services (both planned and reactive maintenance activity)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proactive, achievement-oriented approach with a "can-do" attitude
- Flexible team player with practical problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies
**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:
- Implement all relevant national, state, and local legislative requirements
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits
- Participate in account, site, and client committees/meetings as required
- Ensure statutory inspections and testing are completed for the sites
- Oversee compliance
