About You (Selection Criteria)
You are an experienced program and project management leader with a background in astronomical instrumentation or a related complex technical/scientific industry. With demonstrated PMO experience, you bring a strong ability to operate in matrixed environments, collaborate effectively across discipline areas, drive a culture of excellence and continual improvement, and deliver outcomes in high-stakes, multi-stakeholder contexts.
You will also have:
- A postgraduate qualification in management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A proven track record in successfully managing large, complex technical programs and projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and manage high-performing and diverse teams.
- Agility and adaptability to navigate complex challenges with professionalism and rigour.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
