The Learning Domain, situated in the central HR team, is transforming how we build skills and grow careers by ensuring the design and development of high-quality, impactful learning experiences. Working with the CBA Domain lead for Skilling and Learning, the Learning Design Chapter plays a crucial role in this effort, driving the creation and curation of learning content and ensuring that it aligns with our strategic goals and meets the needs of our people.

The Chapter Lead Learning role is varied and requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational management. Discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to make data-driven decisions are critical.

This role is pivotal to the success of our learning domain in FY25 and offers the opportunity to shape a key chapter within our organisation. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who is passionate about learning design and operational excellence.

**Do work that matters**
- Inspire and lead a team of Learning professionals in our Design chapter to deliver against HR and business outcomes.
- Develop skills in the Learning Design Chapter through effective coaching and support
- Act as a strategic partner to the Chapter Area Lead and other senior leaders, contributing to the overall learning strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement streamlined processes for the creation, development, and delivery of learning programs, ensuring that they are aligned with organisational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the Learning Design Chapter and across the organization, ensuring that best practices and knowledge are shared effectively.
- Continuously seek feedback and data to refine processes, improve design outcomes, and enhance the chapter's value to the organization.
- Collaborate with HR professionals, learning product owners and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of learning solutions.
- Contribute to the Learning chapter area workforce plan via effective resource and budget management capabilities

- **Learning Design Expertise**: Deep understanding of learning design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- **Change Management**:Experience in leading change management efforts, particularly in setting up new teams or functions within an organisation.
- **Collaboration**:Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- **Communication**:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- **Agile Methodology**: Proficient in Agile principles with proven experience operating in a matrixed organisation highly desirable.
- **Experience Required**:
**~ 7-10 years of experience in a learning and development or learning design role, with a strong focus on process optimization and productivity.**:
**~ Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.**:
**~ Experience in setting up or optimising design functions within a large organisation.**:
**~ Strong background in strategic planning and execution, particularly in a learning or HR context.**:
**~ Experience with learning design technologies and platforms.**:
