We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced Electrician or Mobile Plant Mechanic, with previous experience diagnosing draglines and/or shovels, who is eager to mentor the next generation of Technicians. Reporting to the Senior Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs tailored to Komatsu staff and customers.
As a key member of the training team, you will create comprehensive learning modules, fostering continuous development across the organisation. Additionally, you will extend your expertise to deliver technical training for Komatsu customers, helping them achieve their business goals while contributing to their success.
**Role Located**:Sherwood, QLD or Welshpool, WA

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and update technical training programs for Komatsu staff, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Deliver engaging, tailored training sessions for varying expertise levels, utilising diverse instructional methods.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
- Collaborate with experts to stay updated on industry trends and product advancements.
- Customize programs to meet the specific technical needs of different departments.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality training materials like manuals and multimedia content.
- Provide technical training to customers, enhancing their proficiency with Komatsu products.
- Promote a continuous learning culture through workshops, webinars, and professional development events.
**What we are looking for**:
- Qualifications in either; Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Previous experience on either: P&H 4100XPC AC Electric Face Shovel, Electric Drive Trucks, WE1850 Electric Wheel Loader, PC5500 Excavator, D475 Large Mining Dozers (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Previous experience conducting training within a classroom environment (desirable)
- Ability to build strong internal and customer relationships
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willing to Travel
- Familiarity with computer-based software and programs such as;
- Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
