**Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd. **is a highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast, and ACT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Roofing plumber/ Carpenter/ Tradesman keen to be trained/ to join us at our **South Nowra office**. Juniors with experience in Fascia, Gutter or Roofing are encouraged to apply. You will be an organised, friendly & focused person with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Duties may include but are not limited to**:

- Drive to building sites and measure flashings and roofs.
- Contacting and liaising with building supervisors and customers
- Keeping track of, and ensuring all deadlines are met
- On-site Roof and Flashing measures
- Identifying problems/ leaks (training will be given)
- Installing flashings/roofing materials where needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your work
- Be a self-starter and show initiative
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to read Site Plans and specifications
- Knowledge or experience in the Building and Construction Industry is desirable
- Work cover approved white card and current NSW Drivers Licence (manual) are essential
- **Roof Plumbing accreditation/ Carpentry accreditation/ Related accreditation is highly desirable**

- 8 hour shift
