**Downer PipeTech **provides innovative solutions to the Water and Wastewater industry across the East Coast of Australia. As a key service within Downer Water Services, PipeTech currently deliver pipe and culvert relining, stormwater and sewer pipe repairs, alterations, pipe inspections and repairs for Road, Rail, Council and Water Authorities nationally.

**THE ROLE**

Due to growth, this team is seeking a Civil Leading Hand to support the site crew in the efficient, timely and safe delivery of projects. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Leading Hand will take responsibility for all site activities, coordination of labour and materials. This is a permanent, full-time role within an exciting program, preparing for the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Implement and adhere to Project Management Plan
- Engage team members and managers to Foster a positive and practical culture of Zero Harm.
- Manage site-specific permits, tickets, site access, hazards and risks, ensuring all are adequately addressed.
- Conduct inductions, manage contractor access, and ensure all safety and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated experience in the Civil Construction Industry
- Trade qualification highly advantageous
- Experience with Project Administration Functions
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong ability to stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
