**About the Role**

We have multiple positions available on a permanent, full-time basis for Mechanical Tradespersons based in our Perth Workshop located in Malaga. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be required to service and maintain large engines and compression equipment.

In this position, you will
- Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and OHS standards
- Perform major overhauls, reconditioning of engines and ancillary components,
- Service and overhaul gas compression equipment in line with OEM guidelines
- Compile service reports using Microsoft office suite software
- The potential to work across a variety of locations - Pilbara, Mid-West, Interstate and Local within our Malaga workshop.

**About you**
- Industry relevant trade qualification
- Post apprenticeship experience working with Waukesha or Caterpillar gas-fueled engines (desirable)
- Previous experience working on reciprocating and / or rotary screw compression equipment
- Experience overhauling large engines
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders in a respectful and polite manner
- A strong focus on safety
- Basic computer skills
- Manual driver’s license

The following will be highly regarded
- OEM Caterpillar, Waukesha and / or Ariel Training
- Current FA/CPR qualifications
- Working at Heights, Confined Space and / or Hazardous Areas certification
- Exposure to large engine rebuilds
