**The Role & What We Are Looking For**

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Test Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for preparing and executing automated and manual functional test cases and documenting the testing outputs to verify that the quality of the software developed is stable, meets the agreed requirements and is fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Promote and adopt DevSecOps methodologies in deliverables
- Conducting SIT of the Requirements documentation, Epics, Stories and Defects, providing feedback on the testability of the documents and raising clarifications where applicable
- Conducting all other forms of testing including Regression, Integration, Performance & Load/Stress, Security and Data Migration according to the testing strategy and plans
- Providing input to Test Lead/Manager on estimates for test effort and content in the release test plans
- Raising project risks and issues via the Lead
- Creating relevant test data
- Drafting test conditions/acceptance criteria and ensures traceability is mapped to Requirements/Stories
- Writing manual or automated test cases with detailed test steps to adequately exercise each sprint's Requirements/Stories/Defects
- Raising defects in JIRA and tracks through to resolution

We're looking for the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in a Test Analyst role (manual, functional testing, and preferably automated testing)
- Proven experience of testing and/or domain knowledge of Insurance, CRM, Finance and Accounting functions
- Experience of testing across the end-to-end process of Water Fall and Agile Software Development lifecycle
- Proven experience of ISTQB testing standards, and Jira
- Ideally, ISTQB qualified at Certification Foundation Level
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in writing automated test scripts
- Knowledge of test tools like TestRail and SAHI Pro is desirable but not essential
