**About the Role**:
**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Work directly with students to explain available accommodation options, discuss the merits and challenges of each, and develop tailored action plans to help students achieve their housing goals.
- Discuss students’ budgets, cost-of-living considerations, and accommodation preferences, providing realistic and constructive feedback when needed to help students align expectations with their circumstances.
- Triage and prioritise incoming requests, using tailored communication templates and relevant resources to respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with other Curtin support services to identify and assist students in need of emergency or crisis accommodation, and arrange appropriate short-stay housing.
- Liaise with external accommodation providers—including on-campus accommodation partners, real estate agents, and homestay providers—to research options, track availability, and monitor current market pricing.
- Accurately administer and maintain records of all student interactions using Curtin’s established systems and procedures.
- Identify potential student wellbeing concerns and, under guidance or in line with existing procedures, refer students to appropriate University support services.
- Assist in reporting on service usage, effectiveness, and student outcomes to support continuous improvement of the Accommodation Coach service.
- Undertake other duties relevant to the role as required, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.

**As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered**
