Production Planner

Our client is an Australian owned business with locations and manufacturing facilities throughout Australia is currently looking for a Production Planner to join their NSW business on a permanent basis.

**_Reporting to the Senior Production Planner you will work closely with site managers, production, procurement and the sales team to: _**
- Create medium term master production schedule to ensure appropriate future material and resource availability and overseeing planning at our other locations
- Negotiate with production managers and maintenance teams to ensure that other site activities will not impact the agreed production schedules
- Implement new processes and further improve current planning practices to deliver our stretched service and inventory targets

**_To be successful in the role you will possess the following: _**
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to supply chain or manufacturing systems - highly regarded
- Solid Production Planning Background in an FMCG environment
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential
- With your keen eye for detail and process improvement mindset, you’ll be able to spot growth opportunities and proactively manage risks
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to solve problems in a time pressured environment
