- Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
- Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery such as transformers to ensure optimal functionality
- Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications accurately
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes through innovative ideas and suggestions
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during testing procedures
- Providing technical support to internal teams as required

This role will require some flexibility to work away from home as needed.

**Desired skills and experience include**:

- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in using CAD software for technical drawings and designs
- Ability to conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an engineering environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members
- Aptitude for working independently and managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, or 2 years relative experience in this area

Hourly rate starts at $38 per hour ($75,000pa), dependent on skills and knowledge. Other benefits include:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
