Job Description

**Your Opportunity to Join Our Team**

We are seeking proactive and skilled **Maintenance Fitters** to join our **Primary Processing Site in Murarrie**. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

We offer flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle, including **day, afternoon, and night shifts** with full-time, fixed rosters available.

**Available Positions**:

- **Afternoon Shift Frontline Fitter**
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 1:00 PM - 9:06 PM (1300-2106)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- **Day Shift Frontline Fitter**
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 5:00 AM - 1:06 PM (0500-1306)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- **Night Shift Frontline Fitter**
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 9:00 PM - 5:06 AM (2100-0506)
- Full-time, fixed roster
- Includes routine strip down and set-up of plant for nightly cleaning rotation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure reliability and safety
- Assist with plant upgrades, installations, and modifications
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used
- Follow workplace health and safety standards at all times

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- Trade qualification as a Fitter or Mechanical Engineer (essential)
- Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing or food processing environment (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (desirable)
