Manager Demand

This role will have a State-wide focus on the DPTs to ensure that resource management has central visibility of demand & capacity across all DPTs to ensure well considered assessments and coordinate strategies to address any workload requirements including current business as usual activities and eHealth/HHS project activities.
The Manager, Demand and Resource Management will play an integral part in the current transformation program occurring across eHealth Queensland - evolving in its scope as capability across eHealth Queensland increases with an initial focus on demand and capacity management of fee-for-service resources across the state-wide DPTs.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and promote demand management practices within a large, complex service delivery organisation
Demonstrated high level understanding of end-to-end IT customer service delivery (ITSM/ITIL)
Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels within and external to eHealth Queensland and build strong working relationships
Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a busy environment
High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compile complex reports, briefs, correspondence and submissions on behalf of the Senior Director, Digital Partnerships Team
Demonstrated high level research, analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and risks across the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor staff committed to the delivery of a diverse and dynamic work program to achieve positive service outcomes for customers while effectively managing conflicting demands and tight timeframes
**Specific Working Conditions**:
Reasonable travel as negotiated may be a requirement of this position.
An open 'C' class driver's licence is desirable.
