**What You Will Be Doing**

The Family Violence Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the family violence teams and programs, meeting service and budgetary deliverables, and ensuring the provision of high-quality services.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Business, Social Science or a related

field
- If a psychologist, hold and maintain full registration with AHPRA; If a social worker,

eligibility for full membership with the AASW
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Family Violence issues, trauma-informed care

and No to Violence principles, standards and practice
- Minimum of 10 years' of experience in health, social and/or community services programs,

including Family Violence
- Strong financial management skills
- Innovative strategic planning and leadership skills
- Advanced risk assessment and management skills as they relate to men who use

violence
- Proven interpersonal skills and a strong ability to build relationships and partnerships to

further agency objectives and improve client outcomes.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and accountability - take responsibility for own actions
- Ability to manage competing priorities and manage time effectively
- Hold a current ‘Working with Children check’
- Hold a valid, current Victorian Driver’s License.
