**About Us**:
Victim Services, Support and Reform (VSSR) is part of the Police, Racing, Victims and Coordination Division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) and is responsible for coordinating a suite of services for victims of crime in Victoria.

**About the Role**:
The Program Officer - Family Violence Initiatives is responsible for coordinating MARAM, FVISS and CISS implementation within VSSR and providing advice to VSSR on relevant family violence guidelines, processes, and protocols to support frontline services to victim survivors.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Coordinating family violence program initiatives, information, and decisions across VSSR.
- Coordinating reporting on the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme, Child Information Sharing Scheme and MARAM Framework for VSSR.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and achieve high quality outcomes.

**About You**:

- An intrinsic understanding and awareness of the nature and dynamics of family violence, the legislative context and service system in Victoria.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and translating complex information, policies and/or legislation to support operational requirements in a frontline service.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and or experience in social work, family violence, criminal justice or related discipline and experience with victim services and/or family violence reforms will be highly regarded.
