**About this opportunity**:
Our Pumicestone Road store in Caboolture is currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join and assist leading the store's meat department.

Reporting directly to the Meat Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more

**Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate**:

- Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to order and control costs
- An understanding of gross profit calculations
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
- Commitment to work health and safety standard
