**Assistant Transport/Fleet Allocator - Full Time -Penrith**

Baker Group currently has a position vacant for an Assistant Transport/Fleet Allocator.

The primary purpose of this position is to allocate work to our Haulage drivers.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**:

- Prioritise fleet workloads for drivers and subcontractors
- Ensure the fleet operates efficiently at all times to minimise costs and lost time
- Maintain and build positive relationships with customers
- Work closely with the Senior Allocator and Chain of Responsibility Manager
- Assist with administrative tasks

**Skills and experience**:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate that you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Computer literate with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Software
- A strong, positive customer focus
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Knowledge of the Sydney Metro area and surrounds
- The ability to work both independently as well as a part of a team

This position is full time Monday to Saturday on a rotating roster.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
