**The role**

As part of a team of experienced aged care professionals, your role will involve you visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool. This position will be located in Adelaide and will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the Metropolitan North and Yorke, Lower North & Barossa aged care planning regions (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care. Visits require travel within the Metropolitan North and Yorke, Lower North & Barossa ACPRs with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities.

Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required). Applicants who have been trained as AN-ACC assessors or currently work as AN-ACC assessors will be considered favourably.

**On offer**:

- Highly attractive salary - $104,550 salary p.a. + 11.5% super (FTE)
- Permanent PT position
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
- All technical equipment including laptop and phone
- Reimbursement of travel expenses

**Required**:

- 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector.
- Current, general, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Valid driver's license and reliable car.
- Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.
- Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities.
- Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team.
- Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements.
