Warehouse Storeperson

**North-Side Location**

The Cardboard Box Shop is seeking an energetic Warehouse Storeperson, for a busy warehouse located in Kedron to assist with receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will join our despatch team to efficiently receipt, store and despatch a wide variety of products.

You will need to be physically fit as there is some shared lifting involved. Full training provided.

**Role you’ll play**:
We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.

You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:

- Current Forklift licence preferred with min 3 months experience
- Pick / packing experience a bonus
- Experience loading and unload trucks and trailers
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role

It also includes:

- working in a team to organise the receiving, warehousing, distribution of products
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Assist in managing stock control and help maintain quantities.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies and other staff members.
- Assist in keeping the areas clean and tidy at all times.

You are right for this job if you have
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with logistics and warehousing
- Physically capable of performing manual lifting tasks (up to 25 kg).
- Computer Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, MYOB an advantage
- Excellent time management, prioritising skills and communication skills.
- Must be honest, reliable, possess attention to detail and be willing and able to work individually and in a team environment.
- Friendly personality and good interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Knowledge of metric and imperial measurements is an advantage.
- _Current First Aid Certificate an advantage_

Wage is based on the Manufacturing Award, Casual position and depends on your age and experience in the area. Fulltime is available for the right person.

No Deadline, we are always looking for part time/casual workers as well to help with all things manufacturing and warehousing.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
