Casual Research Assistant

Duration: Between 2-5 months (required from June)

Join our dynamic research team and take part in cutting-edge projects focused on the head and neck research. You'll gain hands-on experience in healthcare academia and translational research, with a particular emphasis in the dental industry. Develop critical thinking skills and expertise in conducting healthcare industry research and become proficient in professional and patient communication and understand research and clinical methods. **To be successful you will need**:
**Specific Role Requirements**:

- Provide support for physical data collection procedures in various clinics and laboratories throughout Adelaide.
- Possess fluency in English to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and research participants, both in-person and over the phone.
- Display proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 and Office Suites to facilitate electronic data capture, subsequent storage, and effective organization of data.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment prior to the arrival of research participants and ensure equipment is properly stored at the end of each session.
- Effectively manage inventory for payment vouchers, track research expenses, and assist with cost analyses.

**General Role Requirements**:

- Excellent attendance and punctuality, especially for group discussions.
- Proficiency in technology or a strong interest in the field is highly desirable.
- Strong awareness to their surrounding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
