Lead College is dedicated to providing high-quality first aid training to individuals and organizations. We are looking for a passionate and experienced First Aid Trainer and Assessor to join our team and help us deliver exceptional training programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deliver Training**: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions in First Aid
- **Assessment**: Develop and implement assessment tools, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- **Curriculum Development**: Assist in the development and updating of training materials and curriculum to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Student Support**: Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their individual learning needs and helping them achieve their educational goals.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all training and assessment activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- **Professional Development**: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in first aid practices and training techniques.
- Promote a positive learning environment and encourage participant engagement.

**Essential selection criteria**:

- Certification as a First Aid Trainer and Assessor (e.g., from a recognized body such as the Red Cross or St. John Ambulance).
- Extensive experience in delivering first aid training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or higher
- Strong knowledge of first aid practices and procedures.
- A valid Working with Children Check and a Police Check no more than 1 year old.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in using digital tools for training and assessment.
- Ability to assess participants’ competencies accurately and fairly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to promoting health and safety.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Background in healthcare or emergency services.
- Additional certifications in related areas (e.g., CPR, AED).

**Job Types**: Casual, Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 14 per week
