We are currently seeking a dedicated **Domestic Assistant** to join the team providing support services at **Bethanie Como** Aged Care Home. Bethanie Como is a 99 bed luxury facility that provides a full range of aged care services with a focus on allied health support and personalised care.

This is a **permanent part-time** role with the following shift pattern:

- **Week 1**: Monday & Friday 0830 - 1430
- **Week 2**: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 0830 - 1430

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in cleaning ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture. You may also have the opportunity to be trained in and work across the roles of Kitchen Hand and Laundry Assistant.

**About You**
- Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations

**The Role**
- Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring supplies are stocked across the facility
- Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met
- Ensuring residents' personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending
