We are currently seeking **Domestic Assistants** at our **Bethanie Illawong Aged Care Facility**. Bethanie Illawong is a 39 bed aged care facility located in Hamiliton Hill, offering a secure area for local residents with dementia or similar and associated conditions.

This role will be offered on a 20 hour a week, permanent part time basis. The shifts are Monday to Friday, 8am - 3pm.

As a Domestic with Bethanie, it will be your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all communal areas and client’s rooms, whilst overseeing the effective day to day running of the facility.

**About the Role**:

- Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring supplies are stocked within the facility
- Liaise with other Bethanie employees to ensure the needs of clients are met
- Ensuring client's personal clothing is individually labelled, and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending

**About You**:

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Food Services Assistant ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate both orally and written
- Willingness to uphold the vision, mission and values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations - 3x COVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccination
