**Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) - Emergency Department**

**About Our Client**: Our client, a leading healthcare facility located in Adelaide, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead their Emergency Department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled nurse leader to contribute to the efficient operation and high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department.

**Position Overview**: As the Nurse Unit Manager for the Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing the nursing team, and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining a responsive and efficient emergency care environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff in the Emergency Department.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Mentor and support nursing staff in their professional development.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Emergency Department.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Substantial experience in emergency nursing, with leadership experience preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Nurse Management is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
