**The Role: Maintenance Fitter**

Are you ready to make a real impact? As a **Maintenance Fitter** at Hive & Wellness, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Reporting directly to the National Engineering Manager, you will ensure that our production equipment is fully operational through effective asset management.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Provide preventative and reactive maintenance to achieve optimal operational requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices
- Monitor, resolve and escalate identified issues involving plant and equipment
- Repair and maintain plant and equipment such as chains, belts and roller conveyor transport systems, compressors, retail packing equipment etc.
- Assist with maintaining and improving processes and systems
- Assist with Engineering Departments administration, including stock and part management
- Sound fault finding techniques possessing the ability to diagnose down to root cause and implement permanent corrective counter measures as required
- Assist with contractor management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workshop area and stores

**Selection criteria**
- Possess relevant trade qualifications and experience
- Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing industry
- Sound administration and computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Flexibility with working hours and overtime on occasion
- Attention to detail
- Effective communicator
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Experience with use of CMMS systems highly desirable
- Engineering purchasing, spare parts and contract management highly desirable
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
